πŸ“¦Deployments & Migrations

To push an updated development file to staging or production, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Version you want to publish.

  2. Use the sidebar to release this Version to the main branch. Ensure you're releasing a version different from what's already in staging/production.

  3. Once done, a button for updating your linked production file(s) appears in the Modules β†’ Deployment tab. Use this button to either initiate the update immediately or schedule it for later.

  4. Use the Settings button to specify deployment specific Data Migration settings.

Initiating an update will automatically clone the latest main file, send it to the relevant staging/production servers, temporarily close the staging/production file and execute a Data Migration. You can track the migration logs in real-time by clicking on Details or in the Migrations tab.

In case something goes wrong during Data Migration, Devin will automatically revert files back to the previous state.
